This History was written by and for the men of the 295th  Engineer Combat Battalion at Fort Belvoir 9/21/45 . The copy I have belonged to Edward T. Romanowski and was loaned to me after his death, by his daughter Sue for this web site. My hope is this site will be of great use to the family's of these men. The link below "ALL  THE MEN OF THE 295TH" you will find a complete list of the men and their service numbers which you will need to send for service records.
